2019 is just ending in a few days. Most of us have already started making plans for 2020 like the new resolutions we will take up or perhaps some lifestyle changes we will make. But do you realize that most of the times you fail achieving the resolutions because there are certain things that need clearing.
As a spiritual coach for more than a decade, I have the following common patterns people have which are the roadblocks to achieving their desired results. So, the main objective of this article is to make you aware of what needs to be flushed out of your life 2019 ends.

1. Give up Toxic Relationships
This is the number one thing which needs to be eliminated from your life before 2019 ends. Toxic relationships are overly demanding which disturbs the balance of giving and receiving in the relationship. Often toxic relationships demand you to transform yourself completely according to their expectations.
They drag you down in self-confidence and make you feel unworthy of any good in life. Whether these toxic relationships are personal like a partner or a parent or perhaps your close friend, now is the time to analyze the level of toxicity you're going through.
Consulting a counselor or a therapist should be your top priority to empower yourself for this upcoming New Year 2020. Instead of shying away, now is the time to show courage and head for a permanent solution. It is definitely time to choose yourself over this toxic relationship.
2. Stop giving up to other's expectations
It is normally said to hold others needs over your own. But how can you make others happy and satisfied, if you're failing to meet your own needs. I would suggest you spend some time reflecting on what are your needs which are unmet. Whether these needs are from other people or from yourself, it is time to figure it out.
For once, keep yourself above others and see what your heart craving is for. Many a times, all we need is self-love and some quiet time for self. Even if you're a mother, you still need some ME time. Or perhaps you're a very giving partner, time to think what is that you need to rejuvenate yourself?
3. Reset your Priorities
There are times when the same routine is going on for years and seldom, we realize that this monotony is killing our creativity. At the center of our being, we are all creative. But the monotone of life just destroys it. A destroyed creativity makes you feel incomplete.
Hence, when you brace yourself for a resolution, you don't even reach half marathon. This is an indication that life needs a change. Remember, only CHANGE is CONSTANT. Time to reflect on your schedules and daily life for breaking the monotony and bringing back some colors.
4. Boost your Inspiration
To achieve something in life, we need to feel inspired. This is the basic nature of every human being. Before 2019 ends, find out what inspires you the most? What is that one goal in life which will keep you inspired day in and day out? I know it is a tough one to reflect on, but this is the basic key to entering the matrix of success in the upcoming year. Gift yourself the dose of inspiration which can make you go miles and miles without feeling tired or being ready to give up.
5. Stop being FAKE for others
To be upbeat and matching the society norms, we do tend to have fake conversations or a fake personality at work. This is a big pull down for us from within. It is like going against the tides while standing on the shore. When you believe in something, stick to it. Stop faking it just because others would like to second their opinion. Of course, you cannot be rude to reject them.
But maintain your peace and don't demonstrate your positivity on something you don't believe in from within. Be your authentic self and stop worrying about people being judgmental. It is your time to choose what is good for you.
