Description Macro :Bubble-blowing House Fly

This is a macro of a house fly blowing a bubble of water with its mouth. It blows out a drop of water and then inhales it again.
Apparently there are a lot of theories for this behaviour (to aid digestion, to cool the body, etc.) but nobody is certain of the real reason.
